GN Solids Control is only devoted to provide consistent quality shaker screens to suit different site usage, no matter it's oil and gas or HDD etc. We DO not want to cut our manufacturing cost by using some cheap raw materials.
1. Screen Frame:
As you know the composite screen is embedded by one metal screen supporting frame. Many screen vendors are using single layer and less metal bars, which are OK in some worksites usage but will also broke shortly in the other sites.
2. Composite Materials:
There are 3 popular ways to get those composite or plastic for all composite screen manufacturers: a. Recycle and reuse second hand plastic; b. Buy chemicals and manufacture by himself; c. Buy high quality prilling plastic.
GN only uses the last one which is high quality prilling plastic, obvious this is the most expensive one, but the composite frame is also last longest.
3. Wire Cloth:
Different screen manufactures are buying from different wire cloth vendors, top rank, second rank and third rank... GN Solids only use top rank wire cloth which is the same vendor as Derrick and Mi-Swaco.
Different wire cloth to from the API no., GN only uses 304 for the bottom layer, but use 316L for the middle and top layer.
4. Injecting Moulding Machine
GN has its own injecting moulding machine. Quality can be controlled strictly.
Consistent quality is very important for us, we will never manufacture screens that work well in one site and fail in the other site. Quality is one thing; the API cut point is another important thing to consider.
As far as we know, GN is the only China Screen manufacturer has all the API no. that tested by a USA third party in order to conforms with API RP 13C. You may double check with the other China screen vendors whether they have a full series API test report issued by a third party.
Besides, GN Screen are 4 side tensioned, it takes time to do this (actually manufacturing efficiency is pretty low) and also waste some screen cloth during manufacturing but it's totally worth. We can send you a tension testing tool next time so you may check whether the other screen vendors are using any pretention method.

GN Solids Control HDD mud recycling system helps Hong Kong Airport to stock airplane oil. Last year, GN Solids Control provides one set of 1500GPM mud recycling system to one Hong Kong HDD construction company. They use GN Solids HDD mud recycling system to treat the mud during HDD machine working.
The Hong Kong Airport oil stock project is pretty complicated, it was meant to build one undersea pipe to connect with the airplane. During the HDD working, the local government asked not to pollute the water and make any effect the natural environment. 1. GN Shaker

4. GN Screw Conveyor
Between these 2 mud tanks there is one screw converyor, which is used to collect all the solids discharged from shakers and desilters.

GN Solids Control manufactures shale shaker, 10 inch desander treating equipment, 4inch desilter treating equipment as well as mud cleaner. In order for everyone has a better understanding, we’d like to pick up some of the questions our customers asked before:
On the Mixing Tank that feeds the second decanter centrifuge, we will want to add another 3 inch connection to the tank bottom to supply our Reactor. Another example, on the V-Bottom Tanks with screw conveyor, I will want to add an overflow weir to skim oil. This means that we will want to add some our Innovation custom design modifications. After we place the order, I would like to visit you in Houston and we would spend a day together marking up your standard design drawings with our needed modifications.
The piping connections between the mixing tanks and pumps, and pumps to decanters, are those hard steel pipes or are they flexible heavy duty hoses? Most of them are flexible hoses, not sure if they are heavy duty; few of them are hard steel pipes.
The Vacuum Transfer Pump is very impressive but 17 cubic meters per minute high pressure air consumption is too much and too expensive for this small system design. I am thinking of adding another Wilden T4 AODD pump. I don't like that the Wilden T4 pump only passes < 5mm solids. Do you have a better suggestion for the first pump to feed the Pre-Mixing Tank?
As you mentioned the solids content is around 30%, which is very hard to transfer by the other types pumps, only vacuum pump can transfer the high density and large viscosity oil sludge. However, screw conveyor might be used, but you will use one excavator to fill into a catching box of the conveyor. Obviously it's not the best option.
We will add the 20 foot Electrical Distribution Center to our system. I assume all piping connections on the various tanks will include valves? Do you use butterfly or knife gate valves? Yes, we use butterfly valves. If you have particular demands, we can modify our system. GN is especially good at providing tailored oil sludge treating system.

1. GN Decanter Centrifuge
GN decanter centrifuge has several different models, include 9inch, 14inch, 18inch and 22inch size rotating bowl. GN Solids Control will exhibit one 14inch size rotating bowl decanter centrifuge in this show.
GN Solids Control rotating bowl is made of duplex stainless steel. The inside screw propeller is fixed with tungsten carbide tiles, which can be replaced after use for a long while. GN Solids Control provides turnkey treating systems includes centrifuge stand and feeding screw pump.

2. GN Sludge Vacuum Pump
GN Sludge Vacuum Pump is an effective pump to transfer high content solids. GN sludge vacuum pump doesn’t need to use electricity; all you need to do is provide the air source. The longest transfer distance is 1000m. Max solids contents can reach to 80%.
Besides GN decanter centrifuge and GN sludge pump, GN Solids Control also provides some other environment treating equipment, such as shaker, dosing unit.
