The mud cleaner is combination of shale shaker ,desander, and desilter. On the offshore. One machine can treat the sludge for 3 times to remove out different size particle, And the machine only need small area for layout. Compare with onshore drilling ,the offshore or drilling fleet both have more strictly requirement to equipment on explore proof standard, the lifting standard. Most time offshore will need DNV certificate to guarantee the lifting eyes are strong enough. For some electrical motor ,offshore always require some special certificate. Mud cleaner is one of the most important equipment after shale shaker in solids control system. It include 2 units 10 inch hydrocyclone and 12 units 4 inch hydrocyclone and also the bottome shaker. Centrifuge pump will feed slurry to 10 inch hydrocyclone first and remove out the particle bigger than 60um. The discharged solids will drop on the bottom shaker to dryer the solids.  Then one more centrifuge pump will feed slurry from bottom tank to 4 inch centrifuge, 4 inch centrfiuge can remove out particle bigger than 20um. For most project, the slurry after treatment by mud cleaner, it would be enough to recycling. However, if the jobsite require more clean slurry, we can add one extra Decanter centrifuge to remove out the tiny solids smaller then 20um.

last week GN delivered one mini shale shaker and one mini vacuum pump to south America customer. These equipment are used for oil gas industry. The customer who purchased this 2 units equipment is a very famous tank manufacture in the global. We do respect their quality and their quality management. Client purchase these two units equipment are used for cleaning huge tank. Client built tank with 35-50 feet depth, they need spend lots cost to clean the tank. For this depth , it is also very hard to get out the dirty water after clean tank. And the water consumption is also big issue and spend lots money to treat these waste water. GN mini shale shaker are spending designed to cleaning the tank bottom , which can instead people to suck the dirty solids and sludge. and directly transfer these sludge with more than 500 meters. It just like a big vac cleaner ,but GN vacuum pump can do more ,can suck than bigger dryer solids and viscosity sludge. This pump are driven by high pressure air, no spark ,and it can be used in the most danger area.

cooperate with vacuum pump, client also purchase one mini shale shaker, which be used to separate the sludge from vacuum pump. Mini shale shaker utilize the vibration force to separate the solids and liquid away. It can remove out particle that size bigger than 40 micron if we choose higher mesh shaker screen. After the sample treatment by shale shaker, the water can be used again in some project than have low requirement to water quality. Most important is this shaker have very low power consumption.
